It's obviously the talk of the town.

Now I'm doing this one. It's not out yet, but this is the working version. A person has to be careful with faux-oldness I feel, but this one didn't seem to do what it was supposed to do without some roughing up first.
Here's a free lesson in graphics wizardry: to achieve this weathered look, I printed out the original photograph, took it to school with me in my backpack, let my friend Lois borrow it but she spilled juice on it and then rolled over it with the wheels of her desk chair which she said was an accident but I had to take it back and not be friends with her anymore, couldn't find it and asked my mom and she said she gave it to Salvation Army because that's what happens when you don't take care of your belongings, also my Spiderman comics, cried and slammed the door, learned after dinner that she was doing an object lesson about picking up my stuff from off of the floor and didn't ever really give it away, and then I hugged it and put it back on the shelf but for my next birthday I got a tape deck and it stayed on that same shelf for 15 years.
Voila!
Also, while I was looking at old Blue Note record covers on the internet to get in the mood, I accidentally found these. SO GOOD. Made me want to throw my hat on the floor.
